Initial Consultation (IC)
The first step is to establish your needs and wants for your unique space. The IC, booked by calling (+61) 8 9417 7711 or emailing info@lushlandscapes.com.au, is when you can book Internationally awarded designer Sarah, to personally come to your home and speak with you, one on one, about the functionality, design concept and budget for your space. Sarah is an expert in design and can work within varied spaces from courtyards to stadiums, no space is too small or difficult. In the IC you are free to share your thoughts and ideas for your garden or allow Sarah to come up with the design direction herself, whichever you prefer. By the end of the meeting a general direction for the design is achieved and Sarah can then go back to the office and do a formal design for you.
Design Concept
The next step is the exciting part, the start of the design phase. Sarah will create for you a full colour design, much like those shown on 'backyard blitz'. The design depicts the colours and locations of all the features and is a full colour aerial shot of the space. If needed, any elevation or 3D drawings will also be produced. As there is only so much that can be depicted in a 2D drawing you will also receive a "3D walk through brief" of the space which contains photographs of all the plants so you can see exactly what your space will look like. Once you have the design, you then have time to reflect on it and consider every aspect before giving feedback to Sarah. At this point if there are any small changes you would like to see made, Sarah will do these for you and re submit your design. Please note: small changes within the design are allowable under the initial design costing however large changes and re designs will incur additional costs.
Quotation
Once you have accepted the design and are happy with everything you may then choose to request a quote for the project. We can provide you with a fully itemised and detailed quote so that you may:
1> Retain Lushlandscapes to manage the entire project for you.
2> Retain Lushlandscapes to manage a section of the project for you.
3> Do the project yourself or get another contractor to do it for you.
The choice is yours and you remain in control every step of the way.
Construction
If you choose for Lushlandscapes manage the entire project or just sections of the project, they can look after you. Sarah oversees all works personally to ensure the highest result and you will have the chance to inspect and sign off on every aspect before payment is made.
